My tires and steering shake around 50mph?

It sounds very typical of alignment, or front end problems, also possibility of tire trouble-balance or broken belt from improper rotation...Budget troubles>>First..check your area shops that do front end work..sometimes you can find "free" diagnosis or safety checks..on brakes, front end (meaning control arms, tie rods, ball joints, etc.), struts/shocks, etc.Call around ask if running any special/sale pricing.. Even if you have to pay-a modest fee. You will be better for knowing just exactly what you have to fix....instead of try this and that, spending $$ that may or may not fix the problem!!...Once you KNOW WHAT is wrong...then do little more price comparison for parts..and labor (unless you have any good mechanics in your circle friends)...then proceed to make best choices per your situation...good luck....ps. the same principle holds true for most car ailments...dig out the bucks for some sort of professional diagnostics...It's always the best money saver. I've been there, done that! the hard way...
