Do you think she's right?

my friends and i were watching a talk about the extinction of some animals due to human hunting and the such. one of my friends said that humans are intervening in nature's way too much. my other friend agreed, but she pointed out that humans seem to be always seen as unnatural beings, like we are not part of nature, "but we are part of nature, aren't we?" she said, "so the things that we do is not really intervening with nature, bec we are part of nature...what we do is human nature." i thought she made sense but still think that we should control our actions...what do you think?
