Tru TV has a car repossesion show; why do the people freik out & act like idiots ?

When people are 4 months behind and viloating terms of their loan why do they act like angry psycopaths when repo guys show up. ? If they really feel like they are violated why no just call the cops ? Even women on this show get violent, start shoving and act like running their mouths is going to change things-only to end up in tears. Why would people who are defaulting on a loan act like they are being violated when their car is being taken away ?
