Should I report possible scam from an ad i posted on petfinder.com? Who should I report it to?

Because you are not a victim, the only thing you can do is call the local police dept on an informative basis. My dept (and I'm sure many others do also) has a "General ignment" unit that handles things like this. They can evaluate it and move it on to the appropriate people.
