Is this Spanish paragraph correct? I'm supposed to use preterite and imperfect tenses.?

My last vacation was to Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi and Texas with a friend. We went during our Spring Break. We went downtown Beal Street in Memphis. There was lots of Jazz music. Once we left, we visited my sister in Texas and ate lunch. I made my way home. My kids were ready to see me. It was a nice vacation.
