Dear me, this is silly. Just remember that if anyone wants to sue you for something, the onus is on them to show proof of the accusation. You just sit and enjoy your coffee. When the trial begins, ask for proof that you have sent a text message to the plaintiff saying you would pay for the damage. Than when the judge throws the case out of court, you can sue them for cost and grievances.Maybe more. I wish I was in your shoe, I know there is a windfall coming my way.
