HELP!!!!!!!!!! what doea this mean?!?!?

I was talking to my therapist about how i am the one in my relationship who tends to ask for more often than my boyfriend. My exact words were, "i am the more promiscuous one in our relationship". However, im not sure if he took it in the wrong way. what i meant was that i am the more horny person, but im nervous that he may think that i sleep around because it seemed like he had a weird reaction. Does the word promiscuous define what i meant to say or does it only define a person who sleeps around...HELPPPPP
